Terms & conditions

These terms govern car rental bookings made through S.S. Travels (ss-travels.net). This is a prototype document for demonstration purposes and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

1. Eligibility — drivers must be 21–70 years old and hold a valid driving licence (with an International Driving Permit if the licence is not in English) and a government photo ID.

2. Bookings and payment — prices are in Indian Rupees and include 18% GST. Pay now by card/UPI or pay at the desk where offered.

3. Cancellation — free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up on most offers; refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. Security deposit — a refundable deposit is held at pick-up and released after inspection, less any fuel, toll, fine or damage charges up to the protection excess.

5. Fuel and kilometres — full-to-full fuel policy; kilometre allowance as shown on each offer; extra kilometres charged at the stated rate.

6. Use of the vehicle — no driving under the influence, off-road, racing or commercial use. Only named drivers may drive.

7. Liability — protection plans limit liability to the stated excess; exclusions apply as described on the Protection page.
